A person who produces drugs should collect the following tools to be used in production according to the composition of the drug:-
(a) For making medicines (elixirs, mixtures, syrups, lotions, liniments, drops, sprays and galenicals etc.) belonging to the Jhol class:

(1) Properly Scales or scales that can be weighed,
(2) Mixing vessels,
(3) Percolator (for galenicals),
(4) Vessels or vessels to be heated,
(5) A suitable mixing vessel or vessels
(6) A dusting instrument,
(7) Filtering machine or means,
(8) Machines for filling medicines into vials or containers,
(9) A device for inspecting whether the filled medicine contains foreign particles,
(10) Machines or means for cleaning and drying bottles, vials or containers,
(11) Deionizer or distilled water making machine and
(12) Measuring vessels.

(b) For making ointments and pastes:

(1) Scales or scales capable of being properly weighed,< br> (2) Mixing vessels,
(3) Vessels or vessels to be heated,
(4) A vessel or vessels suitable for mixing,
(5) Storage tanks or vessels,
(6) Colloidal Mill, Triple Mill or other similar mill (for drugs of colloidal texture),
(7) An instrument or machine for filling ointments into vials or containers,
(8) Paste filling machine (for paste),
(9) Means or machines for cleaning vials or containers and
(10) Deionizer or distilled water making machine.

(c) For tablets and capsules:

(1) Properly weighed scales or Scales,
(2) Disintegrator or pulverizing machine,
(3) Powder mixture,
(4) Mass mixture,
(5) Granulator,
(6) Heat controlled ovens or dryers,
(7) Tablet making machines (for tablets), and
(8) Peel making machine (for peel),
(9) Capsule filling and capsule sealing machines (for capsules),
(10) of tabletsting machine (for making coated tablets), and
(11) Tools needed to test physical properties such as:- disintegrator, hardness tester etc.

(d) For production of injection:

(1) Pyrogenfree Distilled Water Preparation Machine,
(2) Machines for cleaning, washing and drying ampoules, vials or containers,
(3) Mixing and preparation tanks,
(4) Autoclaving machine,
(5) A filter that can be filtered to prevent germs from penetrating,
(6) Filling, closing and sealing machines,
(7) Inspection machines,
(8) Leak testing machine, and
(9) In the case of drugs to be produced in aseptic conditions, the devices or machines decided by the department.
